Converting
With over 35 years of experience and more than 1600 systems and 4000 measurement sensors installed on converting lines, NDC has become the leading gauging supplier to the coating and converting industry.
 
We offer a wide range of measurement sensors, including gamma, beta, X-Ray and IR. These sensors can be used in combination to make differential measurements; in the case of X-Ray and IR, certain coatings or other product paramaters can be measured directly. For example, the IR sensors can be used to provide moisture, coat weight and other direct measurements.
 
We can integrate these sensors into cost effect measurement systems. For example, our 5400 system, with GBS measurement sensors, can measure left / right coat weight, dry weight, and substrate weight in a single, low cost system. If scanning systems are more suited to your application, we offer a comprehensive suite of system solutions, from our 8000 system (with more installations than any other coating system in the world) to our advanced PC-based platform, Pro.Net.
